My myth that I chose was called Coyote and the Giant. It was aboout a young coyote who was very brave and saved a lttile girl from a giant in a big dark cave. The story had a message to face your fears head on and never to back down in life. In this photo I made the contrast out to make it feel more real and I changed the hue/saturation to make the treess and sarah stand out more.

Hypnos
This is a picture that I took at the Lac La Belle Cemetery. I did the lomo effect to it and I thought it originally looked cool because it was kind of scratchy and blurry and it gave it a more errie look to the photo. I also clone stamped out a tree behind him because it was pretty distracting. My myth was Hypnos and it was the god of sleep and he tried to save people in there after life so I thought this picture worked perfectly.

Rachel's Portrait
This is another picture of my Rachel. I loved this picture because of the contrast the of background and her. I also liked the tree in the background and the reflection off the water. In this picture I cropped her more to the side so she was more the focal point. I also changed the saturation on her scarf so it wouldn't stick out so much. I blurred the background and erased her so she would stand out from the background. I also love the natural tint I gave to the photo. I made her eyes stick out with the dodge and burn tool.b I really liked how the final picture turned out and how all the colors fit together.
Lomo Rachel
This picture is of my friend Rachel at Nature Hill. I really liked the side view of this picture, because its more unique then just a straight on picture. In this picture I used the curves, level and all the steps to lomo to make it look like an antique pictures. I also made her eyes stick out with the dodge and burn tool. One thing I wish I would have done however, is clone stamp out the snow, because it has horrible contrast with her face and is way to bright. I think its still a very strong picture though.
Vanessa's Portrait
This is a picture of my friend Vanessa. I tried to get a peaceful and happy feel from this photo. I really liked the lighting in this picture, because it looks great on her face and gives it a softer feel. In this picture I cropped Vanessa more to the side so I would be using the "rules of thirds". I also made her eyes stick out more with the dodge and burn tool. I used the dodge tool on her earning to make it stick out more. I blurred out a tree in the background, so Vanessa would be more of the focal point. I also gave this picture a yellow tint to make it look calmer.

Vanessa's Portrait
This is a picture of my friend Vanessa. For this picture I tried to portray the feeling of mysterious and stubbornness. I had her by a brick wall because I loved the contrast of her black coat against the red wall. In this picture I changed the hue/saturation to be more red so the brick would pop out more and I changed the contrast so it would go to dark red to a lighter red in the background. I also gave the lighting a yellower tint to make it look like the sun was shining on her face. Lastly I made her eyes pop out with the dodge and burn tool.
Sadie's Portrait
This is a picture of my friends little sister Sadie. I tried to get a warm and playful feel throughout this photo. I did this by putting a pink pouffe coat on her and a leopard scarf, because they are very playful patterns. I also had caught a great expression of happiness on her face, which really changes the mood of the picture. Before I edited this picture it was really blah, but I made it more red to match the tones in her hair and I lighted the picture a lot to make the lighting better. I cropped her more to the side, because she was right in the center and didn't look very good. I also blurred the background, so she would stand out more and in the end I think it turned out to be a pretty decent picture.
Rachel
This is a picture of my friend Rachel and I tried to get a calm and natural like feel through out the photo. She wore a flower headband and warmer colors to portray this feel. I also had her sit in a grassy field that would be a great contrast with her outfit to make her pop out more. I had this photo originally in color but the colors weren't balancing good so I changed it to black and white and I loved it. I also made her eyes pop out more by using the burn tool and I think that worked great.
Apurva
For this portrait there was a lot of emotions I tried to evoke. I tried to get anger and seriousness across to the viewers. i tried to darken the background and give her face more of a yellow glow to give it more of a gloomy look. I also think superiority comes through this picture, because of her hair in the wind and the look on her face. For her eyes I used the dodge and burn tool so they would stick out more, because I believe her eyes are the main focal point.

Yellow Wall Paper
This picture was taken at the Lac la Belle Cemetery in the middle of the day. I chose this photo for my yellow wallpaper, because it represents no life and loneliness. Its gray for depression and how the girl went psychotic and was trapped in the room with the yellow wall paper. I edited this photo my balancing the colors and blurring the background to make the focal point stick out.
